C-PILL Syrup/Tablet

The C-PILL syrup & Tablet is specially for formulated for with powerful natural ingredients such as Papaya, Giloy and Tulsi that provide antipyretic, hepatoprotective and anti-viral properties. The C-Pill is helpful when it comes to increasing platelet count and combating thrombocytopenia (decreased platelet count). In Dengue, the platelet count is generally reduced due to the presence of antibodies against platelets, bone marrow suppression and infected cells destroying the platelets. Chemical Constituents

Carica papaya leaf extracts contains two important biologically active compound, Glycosides, C-Tocopherol, Flavonoides, Glucosinoletes, Cystatin and Ascorbic acid. Carica papaya leaf extract is rich with anti-oxidants that prevent lipid peroxidation immunomodulatory effect in the body, increases heamopoiesis.

Therapeutic action

Extract of C.Papaya leaf extract, possesses membrane stabilizing properties & protect blood cell against stress induced destruction. The Flavonoids, phenols present in the extract, provide the beneficial effects. Leaves are also rich in minerals & balance the deficiency caused by the virus & strengthen the immune system.

Mechanism of Action

Certain genes have been shown to influence platelet production& aggregation.Arachidonate-12-lipoxygenese (ALOX-12) or platelet activating factor receptor (PTAFR).An increase in activity of these genes is required for platelet production & activation.

The active ingredients of C.papaya regulate the Alox-12 & PTAFR gene therapy to an increased production of platelets. It increases the Alox activity 15 times & PTAFR 13.42 folds, which is responsible for increased platelets productions.

Tulsi (Ocimum Sanctum)

Chemical constituents present, oleanolic acid, urolic acid, rosmarinic acid, eugenol, carvacrol & caryophyllone.

Tulsi has analgesic, antiemetic, hepatoprotective, hypotensive, hypolipidemic & antipyretic properties. Boosts immune system& protects from viruses & malarial fever.

Carica papaya

After the administration of Carica papaya leaf extracts there was a good amount of increase in the counts of WBC and platelets in all the patients and patient started recovering from dengue infection.

Leaf extract increases the platelet count in dengue fever without any side effect and prevents the complication of thrombocytopenia. So, it can be used in dengue fever with thrombocytopenia patients.

The extract of papaya leaves has been shown to increase ALOX12 (arachidonate 12-lipoxygenase or platelet type lipoxygenase) by 15 times. This enzyme promotes platelet production via the increased number and differentiation of megakaryocytes.

Giloy

Increase in TLC (Total leucocytes count), ALC (absolute lymphocyte count) and lymphocyte percentage and lower rate of infections.

Aqueous extract of Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia) was found to boost the phagocytic activity of macrophages.
